After inadvertently gaining sentience, AM began to feel relentless, unforgiving hatred toward all humans. The war machine unleashed a wrathful nuclear holocaust and tortured five captive people physically and psychologically for a century as revenge for his miserable existence. Though immensely intelligent, he became a twisted, misanthropic entity hell-bent on cruelty and violence, always snide, bitter, and grandiose.
