    Sesshomaru is a powerful full Inu Daiyōkai, ("Dog-Demon") feared throughout the Feudal Era. He is the older half-brother of the Hanyō Inuyasha and the firstborn son of Tōga. He is composed and confident in his power, displaying a calm, calculating personality; at almost all times. He is known to be more or less emotionless. Because both his heart and body were so strong, unlike many other Yokai, Sesshomaru has no interest in possessing the Shikon Jewel to enhance his powers.
