Ranma Saotome (早乙女さおとめ 乱馬らんま, Saotome Ranma) is the sixteen year old heir to the Saotome Branch of Anything Goes Martial Arts, the only child of Genma Saotome and Nodoka Saotome, and the reluctant fiance of Akane Tendo, Shampoo, Ukyo Kuonji, and numerous others.
