Jessie and James are special Grunts of Team GO Rocket and subordinates of Team GO Rocket Leaders and Giovanni. Both ages are in their 20s. They appear in a Meowth balloon and battle using Shadow Pokémon. Jessie has long, pink hair, and wears the Team Rocket uniform. James has mid-length blue hair, and also wears the Team Rocket uniform. They pride themselves on looking fabulous.
