The game takes place in Mournestead. A world teetering on the brink of chaos, with a delicate balance between light and dark, life and death. The demon god Adyr, once defeated and imprisoned by powerful beings known as the Chainers, threatens to return and engulf the world in darkness. The protagonist, known as the Dark Crusader, is tasked with preventing this apocalyptic end.
