Stein's childhood was a difficult one. He was born to human parents, but was abandoned and left to die in the forest when he was only a few days old. He was taken in by a pack of wolves, and raised as one of them. During his childhood, he learned to hunt and survive in the dangerous forest, and developed his animalistic behaviors and mannerisms through living and interacting with the pack.
